
TIRUMALA, DECEMBER 05, 2025: Keeping in view the larger interests of Srivari devotees spread across the country, TTD has allotted Vaikuntha Ekadasi Dwara Darshan tokens in e-Dip, providing equal opportunity to all, said TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal.
The TTD EO responded to 23 callers from across the country during the monthly Dial Your EO programme held at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday.
Some of the callers also lauded the e-Dip system of allotment of tokens by though they did not get the tokens. Thanking the devotees for their positive feedback, he said, keeping in view the past experience, this time TTD and its Board have decided to allot tokens to devotees on Vaikunta Ekadasi, Dwadasi and on January 1 in a transparent manner, avoiding inconvenience to devotees through e-Dip.
TTD has planned to provide darshan to 7.7 lakh devotees during these ten days, and 164 hours out of 182 available Darshan hours have been allotted to common devotees, he added.
Answering callers Sri Durga Prasad from Bhimavaram, Sri Srinivas from Chennai, Smt Rajalakshmi from Hyderabad, Sri Maheswaraiah from Venkatagiri, who sought EO to enhance the quota for the physically challenged and aged, the EO said TTD has to do justice to every category of its devotees and not possible to enhance the quota to one section of devotees.
Responding to caller Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy from Tirupati, the EO said all ten days during Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam are considered auspicious. As the majority try for Dwara Darshan on the first two days we made this an e-dip with an aim to have equal opportunity to all. So the last three days, January 6,7,8, have been allotted to 15000 locals of Tirumala and Tirupati, he maintained.
When a couple of callers sought EO to resume Parayanam on Nada Neerajanam, the EO said concerned officers will be instructed to verify the possibility of slots.
A caller from Vizag who suggested that the staff working and sevaks rendering service should address devotees and each as GOVINDA, only to which the EO said will be ensured.
Ms Preeti from Chennai suggested that EO provide Annaprasadam made of millets instead of Rice on the day of Vaikunta Ekadasi, as the majority of the devotees come fasting on that auspicious day and also wish to have Annaprasadam after darshan of Srivaru only. The EO said the feasibility will be checked.
A few more callers suggested EO on to check that no filmy songs are played in Ghat Road in private vehicles, to serve Annaprasadam to waiting devotees in compartments much before its release, avoiding wastage of food, queue line management, solid waste management in Gogarbham area, behavioural attitude of Sevaks, revival of TTD Kalyana Mandapams and others.
The EO said TTD takes decisions from time to time based on the feedback and suggestions given by devotees by discussing its feasibility in the larger interests of the pilgrims.
Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, CE Satyanarayana, CEO SVBC Phanikumar Naidu and other officers were present.
