
HYDERABAD, NOVEMBER 06, 2025: India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), under the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has launched convenient Doorstep Digital Life Certificate (DLC) services through its extensive postal network across Telangana Circle.
With this initiative, pensioners from Central, State Governments and other organizations such as EPFO, Defence, Singareni Collieries, Beedi Workers etc., can now submit their Jeevan Pramaan (Digital Life Certificate) seamlessly from the comfort of their homes, without visiting banks or offices. The service is facilitated through the IPPB Postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) equipped with biometric devices.
Key Highlights:
- Doorstep Convenience: Pensioners can book doorstep service through the nearest Post Office or via IPPB toll-free number 155299 or through request in Post Info Mobile application.
- Hassle-free Authentication: Using Aadhaar-based biometric authentication, the Digital Life Certificate is generated instantly and shared with the Pension Disbursing Agency (PDA).
- Service Availability: The facility is available across all 23 IPPB branches and 6,256 access points (Post Offices) in Telangana, ensuring last-mile service delivery even in rural areas.
- Nominal Service Charge: The doorstep DLC service can be availed at a nominal charge of Rs.70/- inclusive of GST, ensuring affordability and accessibility for all pensioners.
This initiative aligns with the Government of India’s vision of Digital India and Ease of Living, ensuring that senior citizens and pensioners receive essential financial and verification services right at their doorstep.
