
HANAMKONDA, NOVEMBER 04, 2025: The Department of Commerce and Business Management, Kakatiya Government College (Autonomous), Hanumakonda, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) to facilitate internship opportunities for the students of the college.
The primary objective of this MoU is to promote industry–academia collaboration and provide students with hands-on exposure to the functioning of the banking and financial services sector. Through this partnership, students pursuing Commerce and Business Management will gain practical experience in areas such as digital banking, financial inclusion, and customer relationship management, thereby enhancing their employability and professional competencies.
The MoU signing ceremony was held under the esteemed leadership of Prof. G. Srinivas, Principal of the College D. Rajashekhar, Head of the Department of Commerce and Business Management, and A. Anil Kumar, Placement Officer, coordinated the program and played a vital role in facilitating this collaboration.
From India Post Payments Bank, Mr Pramod, Senior Manager, and Mr Praveen, Manager, participated in the event and expressed their commitment to supporting students through structured internship programs and skill-building initiatives.
Faculty members J. Chinna, Md. Yakub, Shivanaga Srinu, V. S. Umadevi, B. Srinivas, G. Srinivas, and G. K. Kumar were present on the occasion and appreciated the initiative for its focus on experiential learning.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Prof. G. Srinivas commended the Department and the Placement Cell for their efforts in establishing a meaningful collaboration that bridges theoretical learning with practical exposure, enabling students to better understand the dynamics of the banking industry.
