The Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) was celebrated grandly at SKNR Government Arts and Science College, Jagtial.
JAGTIAL, NOVEMBER 01, 2025: On the occasion of National Unity Day, the NCC Unit of SKNR Government Arts and Science College, Jagtial, organised a programme in which students and faculty members together paid rich tributes to the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, commemorating his 150th Birth Anniversary.
The event began with the Ekta Diwas Pledge, where all participants reaffirmed their dedication to the nation’s unity, integrity, and security. Faculty members recalled Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s remarkable contribution to the unification of India.
College Principal Arigela Ashok offered floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and later addressed the students, urging them to imbibe and practice the values of patriotism, unity, and social responsibility in their lives.
Vice Principal Srinivas, NCC Officer Lieutenant, Head of the Department of Zoology Parlapalli Raju, Head of Library Science Department K. Surender, Head of Chemistry Department G.V.R. Sai Madhukar, and faculty members Govardhan, K. Srinivas, Divyarani, Rajitha, Mahesh, and Gattayya participated in the programme. NCC cadets Prashanth, Ajay, Anusha, and Akhila also actively took part in the event.
