HYDERABAD, OCTOBER 11, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the National Mission on Pulses – Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana across the nation on Saturday.
At NAARM, Hyderabad, the programme was witnessed online in the Dr. M.S. Swaminathan Auditorium. Member of Parliament Konda Vishweshwar Reddy graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Reddy called upon farmers to follow best practices in crop cultivation that are natural and environment-friendly, ensuring the sustainability of the agri-ecosystem. He highlighted various agriculture schemes implemented by the Central Government and urged people to maintain a healthy diet suitable to local conditions.
The event was attended by farmers, NAARM scientists, staff members, including project and contractual staff, and PGDM-ABM students.
