
NALGONDA, SEPTEMBER 24, 2025: A medical camp was organised by the University College of Science (UCS) of Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) in collaboration with Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet. The camp was inaugurated by University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Khaja Althaf Hussain and Registrar Professor Aluvala Ravi on Wednesday.
The Vice-Chancellor emphasised the importance of self-discipline and health care in serving the nation. He stated that being healthy is a significant gift to one’s family and country.
The free medical camp offered services from general physicians, orthopaedics, gynaecology, and cardiology. Various tests, including blood tests, sugar tests, ECGs, and 2D-echo, were also conducted.
The University staff and students took advantage of the opportunity. The Principal of the Science College, K. Prem Sagar, appreciated the efforts of the hospital staff for organising such a camp.
The Principal expressed gratitude to the university authorities and Yashoda Hospital staff for their support. The event was attended by Registrar Aluvala Ravi, NSS Coordinator Maddileti Pasupuleti, and other faculty members and students.
