GODAVARIKHANI, SEPTEMBER 23, 2025: Two National Cadet Corps from Sacred Heart High School, Godavarikhani, have been selected to participate in the All-India Trekking Expedition at Tirupati from September 25 to October 2 (Trek-1).
The cadets selected were A Surya Kiran and T Aarya Vardha, and they would participate in an eight-day trek. During this trek, the cadets will cover a range of terrain, including hilly and low-lying areas, as well as wildlife, Flora, and fauna. They will also visit the Lord Venkateshwara temple and explore science and technology development.
The cadets selected for this trek were chosen from the selection process, which included a running and physical test conducted by the 9 Telangana Battalion. The cadets took first place in the selection.
Sacred Heart School Correspondent Sister Maria Goreti congratulated the trainer and NCC First Officer PD Jyothsna for helping the cadets Surya Kiran and Aaryan Vardhan get selected for the national camp. Principal Sister Arogya Mary, Sister Teckla, management, 9 Battalion Havaldar Azmad Ali, Havaldar Swapnil Mahore and others congratulated the cadets.
