WARANGAL, SEPTEMBER 13, 2025: The Departments of Food Science and Dairy Science, Vaagdevi Degree and PG College, organised an Industrial Visit for their students to Hyderabad on Saturday.
A total of 80 students, along with 5 faculty members, participated in the visit. The team visited Masqati Dairy, a leading dairy industry, where they gained practical insights into modern dairy processing, packaging, and quality control measures. They also visited the Parle-G Biscuit Company, where students observed large-scale biscuit manufacturing processes, food safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
The visit provided the students with valuable hands-on knowledge of industrial operations and helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical applications. Faculty members accompanying the students emphasised that such visits enhance professional skills and prepare students for future careers in the food and dairy sectors.
The Management, Principal, Vice Principal and IQAC Coordinator of Vaagdevi Degree and PG College appreciated the efforts of the Head and Staff members of the departments for encouraging the students in participating.
