KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 10, 2025: Retired Deputy Director of Handlooms and Textiles, a poet and writer, Kandukuri Anjaia,h has been selected for the prestigious Dr Ravikanti Vasunandhan literary award for the year 2025.
This announcement was made by Telangana Saraswatha Parishath, Hyderabad, general secretary J Chennaiah, in a statement on Wednesday. The literary award would be presented at Parishath on September 18.
Even before his retirement, Mr Anjaiah was active in literary activities and won the Alishetty Prabhakar award in the year 2014 for his first book, “Kattepalka”, and after retirement, intensified his writings and wrote a book titled ‘Jamadika’. He was active as a poet, writer and president of Telangana Rachaithala Vedika. He hails from Gollakota village of Velgatoor mandal in Jagtial district.
