PEDDAPALLI, AUGUST 29, 2025: The Sacred Heart High School celebrates National Sports Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand in Godavarikhani on Friday. This day is celebrated as a tribute to our sports icons for their contribution to bringing laurels to the country on the international stage.
On this occasion, the NCC cadets of the school participated in a run which was flagged off by the principal, Arogya Mary and NCC First Officer PD Jyotsna. On this occasion, the Principal enlightened the students that the day embraces sportsmanship and brotherhood that comes with sports. She said that National Sports Day is celebrated graciously all over the nation to honour the national sports teams for their outstanding performance for their respective country.
