
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 27, 2025: The 9-day-long Ganesh Chaturthi festival began on a grand scale with religious fervour, pomp and gaiety here on Wednesday. Right from morning hours, people visited Ganesh temples across the city and offered their prayers and performed special pujas. At pandals, temples, ashrams and households, Ganesh idols were unveiled and worshipped.
Special morning and evening aarti was performed, in which devotees took part with gaiety. At Prime Residency-II apartment, Jyothinagar, Karimnagar town, Katla Agaiah and others installed the Ganesh idol and performed special pujas.
The markets were filled with people selling puja and patri. The NGOs were seen distributing clay idols to promote the eco-friendly celebrations.
