
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 27, 2025: To welcome Lord Ganesha for the nine-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, the Alphores educational institutions performed special pujas by installing clay idols in various institutions in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
The institutions celebrated the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with gaiety and religious fervour. It is believed that Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom, bestows his blessings on Earth during this festival and removes every obstacle.
Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy participated in the first day puja rituals with traditions amid chanting of Vedic hymns. He said that they had installed the eco-friendly Ganesh idols as is usually done every year to protect the environment from pollution.
As part of the first day puja, Mr Narender Reddy participated in the navagraha puja, kalasha stapana, Gauri puja, Sakala devatha aradhana and launched the nine-day Ganesh festivities. Every day, the Ganesh idol would be worshipped by conducting special pujas.
