RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, AUGUST 25, 2025: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Mayor Gadwal Vijaya Lakshmi offered special prayers to the presiding deities of Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanams in Vemulawada of Rajanna-Sircilla district on Monday.
She was accorded a traditional welcome, and she participated in the ritual of tying an ox (kode mokku). She also offered special prayers to the presiding deities of the temple shrine. Later, the temple priests presented her with prasadams and aseervachanams. Protocol assistant EO Govindula Ashok Kumar, superintendents Vedantham Srikantha Charyulu and Odepu Venkat Prasad, senior assistant B Mahesh Yadav and others were also present.
On the other hand, the temple shrine was packed to the brim with the arrival of hordes of devotees to offer prayers at the shrine on the auspicious Monday. The devotees formed serpentine queue lines after taking a holy dip in the Holy tank.
