SCCL CMD N. Balram extends congratulations
HYDERABAD, AUGUST 07, 2025: Mr S.D.M. Subhani, Chief Public Relations Officer and General Manager (Coordination) at Singareni Collieries Company Limited, has been honoured with the prestigious Dr. C.V. Narasimha Reddy – Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) National Best PR Manager Award 2025.
He received the award during the National Public Relations Education Day celebrations held on Wednesday evening at the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry Hall in Hyderabad. The award was presented, and he was felicitated by Dr. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, who was the chief guest at the event.
The programme was attended by Professor Venkata Ramana, Director of the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM), Dr. Ajit Pathak, National President of PRSI, Mr Y. Babji, Editor of Public Relations Voice magazine, and Mr Yadagiri, President of the PRSI Hyderabad Chapter, among others.
Mr Subhani was appreciated for his significant contribution in strengthening public relations across all 12 operational areas of the Singareni organisation. As CPRO, he has effectively aligned PR efforts with the company’s objectives, actively motivated employees, and enhanced the organisation’s public image.
He was particularly recognised for his efficient handling of two-way communication through various channels such as brochures, posters, social media handles, and weekly programs like Singareni Sravanthi. The organisers mentioned that the award is being presented to Mr Subhani as recognition of his outstanding performance in managing these communication initiatives.
The organisers praised Singareni’s Public Relations Department as a role model within the coal industry in India, stating that the department has been effectively utilizing all available media platforms for public relations efforts.

He expressed his hope that the Public Relations Department will further intensify its efforts to prepare the workforce in alignment with the broader goal of elevating Singareni to the international stage.
