
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 04, 2025: The Telangana Cooperative Central Bank Employees Association has announced its decision to participate in the joint national strike called by the central trade unions and sectoral federations, scheduled to be held on July 9, 2025.
The nationwide strike was called in protest against the Union government’s decision the privatization and disinvestment in banks and LIC. The unions were also demanding that the government take up measures to strengthen public sector banks and insurance companies, and take up adequate recruitment in the banks. Opposing outsourcing and contract employment, they also sought the revival of the Old Pension Scheme.
Accordingly, TCCBEA Karimnagar district president G Hanumantha Rao and general secretary T Raju served the strike notice to KDCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao in his chambers in Karimnagar town on Friday.
