Traditional rituals, including Punyahavachanam, Rakshabandhanam, Ankurarpanam, and Senadhipati Utsavam were conducted.
The Vasantotsavam will be celebrated from May 11 to 13. Devotees can participate by paying Rs 150 per person.
At the end of the three-day festival on the Purnima day, Goddess Padmavathi is taken around Tiruchanur on the holy streets around the temple in a Golden Chariot while all the people of the village and teams of devotees from distant places witness the event with utmost devotion.
