KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 05, 2025: Students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunuru, Karimnagar town, paid floral tributes to prominent socialist leader Babu Jagjivan Ram on his birth anniversary, which is commemorated as ‘Samata Diwas’ across the country, on Saturday (April 5, 2025).
The students and faculty members paid floral tributes to the socialist leader on the college premises, while commemorating his 118th birth anniversary. On this occasion, they recollected the services of Babu Jagjivan Ram, who had dedicated his entire life for the rights of the deprived, exploited and Dalits.
The students gave lectures about the former Deputy Prime Minister Jagjivan Ram and his great services to the great services rendered throughout his life for the establishment of a just society and for the upliftment of the backward classes.
