
KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 29, 2025: Ugadi, the Telugu New Year festival, was celebrated with lots of enthusiasm at Achievers Active School, Kothi Rampur, Karimnagar town, on the eve of Ugadi festival on Saturday.
The programme began with a song, and they learned about the making of Ugadi pachadi, symbolizing the six tastes—sweet, sour, bitter, tangy, and spicy etc. These beautifully conveyed flavours of life enrich young minds with timeless wisdom.
Furthermore, the little ones showcased a dance, portraying the rich cultural heritage of Telugu traditions. Overall, the Ugadi celebrations in the School hold profound significance in nurturing a sense of belonging, pride, and respect for cultural diversity.
The tiny tots adorned themselves in their traditional attire; they celebrated heritage and embraced the values of unity and togetherness that lie at the heart of this cherished festival. School Director Ch Venkateswarlu, Principal Ch Pallavi, and faculty members explained the importance of the Ugadi festival and the way the festival is celebrated.
On this occasion, poetry competitions, singing competitions and painting competitions were organized for the students and prizes were given to the winning students. Later, they expressed their happiness by greeting each other. The Director and Principal conveyed their Ugadi and Ramzan greetings to the students, parents and their well-wishers.
