KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 24, 2025: National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers and the students of the Department of Microbiology of the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for women, Nagunuru in Karimnagar town, conducted an awareness programme on Tuberculosis (TB) as part of the World TB day on Monday.
On this occasion, the students participated in poster-making competitions to spread awareness about TB by providing information on the disease, its symptoms and treatment. College Principal T Malathi, Vice Principal G Samatha, National Service Scheme Programme Officer and Microbiology Department Head K Geetharani, Microbiology Faculty P Pravita, faculty members and others participated in the programme.
