
KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 24, 2025: The Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (KDCCB) has won accolades for its outstanding performance in the cooperative at the National Conference of CEOs of Rural Cooperative Bank organised by the Reserve Bank of India College of Agricultural Banking at its campus in Pune, Maharastra on February 24, 2025.
Following the United Nations declaring the year 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives under the theme of ‘Cooperatives Build a Better World’, the RBI College of Agricultural Banking had formally inaugurated a two-day conference with the CEOs of DCCBs and MDs State cooperative banks. Incidentally, the Karimnagar DCCB is the only cooperative bank to be invited to the national conference in Pune.
Karimnagar DCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao made a powerpoint presentation on how the Karimnagar cooperative bank had made strides during the last two decades under the leadership of its chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao, who is also chairman of NAFSCOB. He explained about the KDCCB made steady strides from a loss-making bank to the tune of RS 57 crore in 2005 to making profits of over Rs 100 crore during the last financial year.
Explaining about the reforms introduced in the cooperative bank, Mr Satyanarayana Rao said that the bank chairman Ravinder Rao had ensured total transparency in the execution of all works through the computerization of all the PACS and banks in the year 2012. He said that the chairman took measures for the diversification of the business by the PACS and transformed the cooperative bank to provide services on par with any commercial bank.
He also explained about how the DCCB and the Choppadandi PACS had won national awards continuously for the last several years due to their innovative services to the farmers and rural people. He also educated about providing housing and education loans to the farmers through DCCB branches and PACS. General Manager Mohammed Riazuddin was also present.
