KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 13, 2025: The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunuru, Karimnagar town, in association with the Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), conducted an awareness programmne on mental health for the students on Thursday.
PIMS Psychiatry department Head Dr Sanjeev educated the students about mental health issues and provided coping mechanisms for their wellness. He advised the students to follow a disciplined lifestyle, eat healthy and nutritious food, practice gratitude and most importantly express themselves.
He also enlightened the students on the identification of mood disorders depression and relaxation through meditation. Principal T Malathi, Vice Principal G Samatha, senior faculty member S Padmaja, College Medical officer Dr Chaitanya and others were also present.
