HANAMKONDA, FEBRUARY 04, 2025: The Department of Commerce and Business Management (CBM) of Vaagdevi Degree and PG College successfully organized a two-day workshop titled “Unlocking Financial Markets: A Deep-Dive Workshop on Securities” on February 3rd and 4th, 2025. The workshop was designed to enhance the financial literacy of B Com and BBA students, equipping them with essential knowledge of the securities market.
A total of 150 students actively participated in the workshop, which was conducted by B Vishnu Kumar, Associate Professor of Commerce, Government Degree College, Wardhannapet, Warangal. His expert insights provided students with a deeper understanding of stock market dynamics and securities trading.
The workshop was inaugurated by A. Sheshachalam, Principal, who highlighted the significance of the securities market in shaping financial careers. Sugunakar Reddy, BBA Program Coordinator, emphasized the role of mutual funds in wealth creation, while T. Rajeshwar, the Workshop Coordinator, guided students through the fundamentals of stock market trading.
The event served as a valuable platform for students to gain practical knowledge and insights into financial markets, reinforcing the college’s commitment to academic excellence and industry-oriented learning.
