KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 23, 2025: A blood donation camp was organised as part of the National Safety Awareness Month at HRK Toll Plaze at Renikunta on the Rajiv Rahadhari in Karimnagar district on Thursday.
Government General Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Veera Reddy along with Blood Bank nodal officer Dr Usha Khandal inaugurated the camp. The HRK staff and others participated in the voluntary blood donation to save the life of a person.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Usha Khandal called upon the people to donate regularly. She said that donating blood did not have any negative effect on the donor’s body, but provided protection against heart diseases.
