RAMAGUNDAM, JANUARY 03, 2024: Sri Seetha Rama Seva Samithi founder and social activist in the coal belt area Goliwada Chandrakala was conferred with Savithribhai Phule state-level Prathibha Puraskar on Friday.
To commemorate the 194th birth anniversary of social reformer and first woman teacher in the country Savithribhai Phule, the Telangana BC Women Welfare Association organised the birth anniversary celebrations in Hyderabad. TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, Minister Seethakka and others participated in the celebrations.
The Telangana state government, which has announced to celebrate Savithribhai Phule’s birth anniversary as Women’s Teachers Day celebrations, has also announced the Savithribhai Phule state-level Prathiba puraskar.
The awards committee chairman Mani Manjari presented the awards to the womenfolk for their yeomen service to society. Accordingly, she felicitated and presented the state-level award to Goliwada Chandrakala for her women empowerment services in the Ramagundam coal belt area for the last 25 years.
