KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 23, 2024: The Zoology department of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunuru, on the outskirts of Karimnagar town, conducted a one-day workshop on ‘Hybridoma technology and innovations’ on the college premises on Saturday.
Biotechnology engineer and expert in the preparation of vaccines and sterile biologicals from Hyderabad D Karthik Varma was the chief guest. On this occasion, Mr Varma enlightened the students on the need for Hybridona technology innovations, fermentation technology, preparation of virus vaccine, biotechnology tools, monoclonal antibodies production and other issues.
Zoology department convenor M Kalyani, co-convenor Imrose Shahewar, organising members A Sandhya Rani, and Microbiology department head K Geetha Rani organised the workshop. Principal T Malathi, Vice Principal G Samatha, faculty members S Padmaja, N Srilatha, Pravitha, Mushrath Butool, M Radhika, Chaitanya, Spandana and others were also present.
