KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 16, 2024: A woman delivered a baby girl on the premises of the TGSRTC bus station complex in Karimnagar town on Sunday. The delivery happened even as the woman was on her way to the Kunta-Badrachalam as she developed labour pains.
Following the labour pains, her husband rushed and approached the RTC officials, who in turn alerted, the sweepers and lady supervisors who helped her in the delivery by alerting the 108 ambulance services under the shade of a tree and by covering with the clothes. After the delivery, both the mother and baby were shifted to the government headquarters hospital for further treatment.
The hospital authorities said that the mother and baby would be discharged soon as it was a normal delivery and they are healthy. They appreciated the RTC authorities for the prompt response and ensuring the delivery of the pregnant woman hailing from Madhya Pradesh state and was on her way to Badrachalam.
