Renee Rock Stars wins the IMA Karimnagar, President Cup
KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 19, 2025: The Renee Rock Stars lead by Dr Bangari Swamy has won the IMA Karimnagar President Cup 2025 with 17 runs (128 in 12 overs) against the Rohan Rangers lead IMA Karimnagar chapter president by Dr Anamalla Naresh (who scored 111 in 12 overs).
In a first-of-its-kind IMA cricket league, a total of six teams have participated including Renee Rock Stars, Rohan Rangers, Lifeline Legends, Sunrisers, Adarsha Divas and KC Super Queens. Incidentally, among the six teams, two teams were women doctors.
The Man of the Match and Man of the Series was awarded to Dr Cheeti Karthik for his all-around performance. Among women, Adarsha Divas led by Dr Chetana won the President Cup among women over the KC Super Queens led by Dr Srilaxmi.
Trophies were presented to Winners by IMA President Dr Anamalla Naresh and to Runners by Dr Arun Katari, President-Elect THANA Telangana state and Dr Mohan Reddy. Other awards were presented by Dr Pradeep, Dr Naveen, Dr Vijayender Reddy, Dr Vijaymohan Reddy, Dr Ch Jaganmohan Rao, Dr Bhagya Reddy, Dr Jagan Mohan Rao, Dr D Raghu Raman, and Dr Thirupathi. IMA district secretary Dr S NAVEEN KUMAR, treasurer Ch Vijay Kumar and others were also present.
