
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 17, 2024: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) Karimnagar region has earned a good revenue of Rs 31.50 crore during the Bathukamma and Dasara festival season.
Barring October 2 and 12, the RTC buses travelled a distance of 53.32 lakh kilometers with an occupancy ratio (OR) of 95 percent from October 1 to 16, 2024. A total of 61,11,849 passengers including 42,34,544 Mahalakshmi passengers had travelled in the RTC buses to various destinations during the festival season.
The Godavarikhani depot earned Rs 527.45 lakhs, Karimnagar Two depot Rs 423.19 lakhs, Jagtial depot Rs 421.74 lakhs, Karimnagar one depot Rs 338.36 lakhs, Vemulawada depot Rs 232.86 lakhs, Sircilla depot Rs 227.44 lakhs, Metpally depot Rs 214.21 lakhs Huzurabad depot Rs 211.49 lakhs, Manthani depot Rs 183.91 lakhs and Husnabad depot Rs 14342 lakhs .
In a statement here on Thursday, TGSRTC Karimnagar Regional Manager N Sucharitha thanked the commuters for extending their patronage to the TGSRTC services during the festival season. She also congratulated the employees of RTC including drivers, conductors and others for their relentless services and increasing the income of the RTC.
