
Initially, Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary brought the Laxmi Kasula Haram from the Tirumala Srivari Temple to the Shilparamam – Pasupumandapam in Tiruchanoor.
After special prayers were performed there, it was taken to the temple in a procession through the Mada streets amidst the playing of auspicious instruments, bhajans and kolatas.
Speaking on the occasion, TTD EO AK Singhal said that the Lakshmi Kasulaharam is the most important among Srivari jewels, and this ornament is usually adorned on Sri Malayappa Swamy during the occasion of the Garuda Seva on every full moon day.

He said that it is customary to decorate Sri Padmavati Ammavaru with this ornament, which is decked during the Gaja Vahana and Garuda Vahana Sevas.
