KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 19, 2024: The Telangana state government has sanctioned conversion of existing double-lane road between Kothapalli and Husnabad town into four-lane road at a cost of Rs 77.20 crore.
In a statement here on Saturday, Minister for Transport and BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar the people travelling on this road faced several problems due to narrow road and several curves. The conversion of the road into four-lane would ease traffic congestion and ensure passage of traffic movement. As part of the project, the road widening and strengthening works would be taken up.
He thanked that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, deputy CM Mallu Batti Vikramarka, Minister for R&B Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and others for sanctioning the four-lane road.
