KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 23, 2025: The Manair Educational Institutions in Karimnagar town celebrated the International Olympic Day by taking out a rally in Karimnagar town on Monday.
The International Olympic Day/World Olympic Day is celebrated all around the world on June 23, which also marks the day of formation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the body responsible for organising Summer, Winter, and Youth Olympic Games.
Manair Educational Institutions Director K Sunitha Reddy lit the Olympic torch and flagged off the rally. On this occasion, Sunita Reddy expressed his delight over the successful celebration of the day, emphasising the importance of sports in holistic education. He said events like these not only promote physical fitness but also instill values of discipline and teamwork among students, which are essential for their overall development. School Chairman K Anantha Reddy, principals Saritha Reddy and Arun, PETs S Mahender, Tirupati, Juheda, Swamy and others were also present.
