
KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 10, 2025: To address health concerns and promote well-being among faculty members, a health camp was organised at SRR Government Arts and Science College in Karimnagar town, offering free check-ups and awareness sessions on Monday.
The Women Empowerment Cell of the college, in association with Medicover hospital, organized a comprehensive health camp offering essential tests such as blood pressure (BP), random blood sugar (RBS), ECG, and 2D echo. The initiative aimed to promote health awareness and encourage regular check-ups among staff.
The event was presided over by Vice Principal T. Rajaiah, who emphasized the importance of regular health screenings for faculty well-being. “These tests are crucial for early detection and prevention of health issues. Prioritizing health helps ensure faculty can continue to give their best to students and the institution,” he stated.
Women’s Empowerment Cell Coordinator M Archana highlighted the significance of women’s health, stressing that faculty wellness directly impacts their professional and personal lives. “A healthy mind and body empower women to achieve their fullest potential,” she remarked.
Autonomous Coordinator underlined the motto “Health is Wealth,” encouraging faculty to take proactive steps toward their well-being.
The event was attended by key members of the college, including IQAC Coordinator Harjoth Kaur, Staff Club Secretary Srinivas Reddy, Administrative Officer Umarani, Ch. Praveena, Rajasri, and Kalajyothi, all of whom actively supported the initiative.
