KARIMNAGAR, JULY 19, 2025: The body of Police Training College DSP Mahesh (56), who succumbed to a heart attack on Friday in Huzurabad, was consigned to flames in Karimnagar town on Saturday with full state honours.
After his body reached Karimnagar town, it was taken to the cremation ground in a huge procession followed by a sea of supporters and mourners. The town reverberated with chants of ‘Mahesh Anna Amar rahe’ when the procession went past it.
The Karimnagar Commissionerate of police had shock and grief over the sudden death of DSP Mahesh. Commissioner of Police Guash Alam participated in the funeral procession and consoled the bereaved family members. He consoled Mahesh’s wife, Madhavi, who is working as Huzurabad ACP. Additional DCP (Admn) Venkataramana, and other police officials attended the funeral and paid tributes to the mortal remains of Mahesh.
