
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 16, 2024: Students of Zilla Parishad High School, Mallapur, Thimmapur mandal in Karimnagar district excelled at the National Youth Adventure programme held at National Youth Complex, Gadpuri, Haryana state from October 6 to 10, 2024.
Under the leadership of Leader Trainer Shareef Ahmed, nine students viz K. Shruti (8th grade), P. Rashmitha (8th grade), N. Rakshitha (9th grade), B. Madhu Priya (9th grade), M. Bhuvan Tej (7th grade), P. Sathwik (8th grade), B. Shiva Ganesh (9th grade), P. Mahesh (9th grade), and V. Abhinay (9th grade) have showcased their talent in various adventure activities.
The students successfully participated in adventure activities such as the 30-foot-high Colombo Bridge crossing and rock climbing. Overcoming various challenges without any safety measures, they received commendations from Siddarth Mahanti, the director of the National Adventure Institute.
The adventure activities include; Archery: This activity provided students with determination and focused vision, helping them develop their skills to hit their targets. Zip Line: The zip line experience offered students excitement and adventure, allowing them to climb and enjoy a thrilling descent.
Colombo Bridge Crossing: At a height of 30 feet, students learned to improve their balance and timing. Balancing Bridge: Walking on the balancing bridge taught students endurance and teamwork. Rock Climbing: This experience helped students enhance their physical fitness, overcome fears, and test their capabilities.
These programmes not only provided students with thrilling adventure experiences but also played a crucial role in their personal development, skill enhancement, and social skill growth. It emphasized the importance of such programs in shaping future youth leaders.
The students who excelled in these adventure activities were congratulated by Scouts District Secretary Kankanala Ram Reddy, School Principal P. Umarani, and teachers Satyanarayana Chakradhara, Shafiq, Srinivas Reddy, Rajesh, Lalitha, along with their parents and villagers.
