KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 17, 2025: Alphores Degree College for Women in Karimnagar town celebrated World Food Day on Friday.
The theme for this year’s World Food Day 2025 is “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future”. The real scenario is that in some places, the severity of food insecurity is overwhelming. Around 673 million people are living without food and are staying hungry.
Alphores Degree College for Women Correspondent V Ravinder Reddy and Priya Milk manager Ch Narasimha Rao participated in the celebrations. Students participated in various competitions organised on the occasion enthusiastically.
On this occasion, Mr Ravinder Reddy emphasised the importance of human wellness and good nutrition in the development of overall development of the world. He apprised the students of various issues related to food hunger and how to tackle these problems. The event was marked by various activities by the students on the theme of food day, such as quiz, poster-making competitions and PowerPoint presentations in which the students displayed their ideas and wit through these presentations.
