They condemn the killing of advocate Swapna on the premises of Chevella court
KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 05, 2026: Women Advocates belonging to Karimnagar district have staged a massive dharna on the premises of the District court in Karimnagar town on Thursday in protest against the brutal assassination of advocate Goteki Swapna (34) on the premises of Chevella court.
The women advocates led by EC memberAdvocate, Upadhyayulu Karunasri, Nisha Singh, Chandrakala, Renuka and others participated in the dharna. They demanded strict action against the culprits and implementation of Advocates Protection Act.
On the other hand, the Moinabad Police arrested four persons, including the victim’s brother, in connection with the brutal murder of G Swapna, a 34-year-old woman advocate, allegedly over a long-standing property dispute.
The arrested persons are the victim’s brother G Raju and his associates, E Sandeep, V Veeresham and K Shivalingam. Officials said the murder was pre-planned by Raju and executed with the help of the three associates.
