WARANGAL, JULY 30, 2025: The Department of Food and Nutrition at Vaagdevi Degree and PG College organised an inspiring and insightful seminar titled “NutriPreneur: Transform Your Passion into Profit” on 30th July 2025, at the college’s Seminar Hall. The session was led by Mohan Reddy V, a well-known dietitian and wellness expert.
The orientation focused on guiding students to turn their wellness passion into a purpose-driven and profitable career. Dt. Mohan Reddy V shared valuable insights into the potential of the wellness industry, emphasising its holistic approach to health, which encompasses physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.
During his address, he highlighted that the wellness industry is a multi-trillion-dollar global market, witnessing rapid growth due to increasing health awareness, an ageing population, and the rise of lifestyle-related diseases. The seminar proved to be highly informative and motivating, as students were enlightened and inspired to explore entrepreneurial opportunities in the expanding wellness sector.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal, A. Sheshachalam, Vice Principal, P. Harinder Reddy, IQAC Coordinator, Mr. Rajaprasad, Dean of Life Sciences, G. Vikram, P . Suresh Head Department of Zoology and G. Chandrakala Head Department of Microbiology, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to think innovatively in the field of nutrition and wellness.
