KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 23, 2026: Vasanth Panchami was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety at Bhagavathi and Arvintree High schools in Bhagathnagar and Vasudeva colony, respectively, in Karimnagar town on Friday.
The festival is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. A ‘homom’ ceremony was performed on the school premises to seek the grace and blessing of the Almighty Goddess Saraswathi for the students appearing for classes SSC board examination, and for the ninth class students, who would appear next year. Students and teachers participated in it.
Chairman B Ramana Rao and Correspondent B Vijaya Lakshmi participated in the puja rituals and conveyed their best wishes to students for their exams. ‘Prasad’ was distributed among students and staff members. They also extended their greetings on the occasion and also applauded the participants for their enthusiastic participation.
