HYDERABAD. APRIL 06, 2026: Vision IAS Hyderabad hosted an inspiring seminar today, featuring UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 achiever Laxmi Rachana (AIR 178), who shared her preparation journey, strategies, and insights with aspiring candidates.
A native of Hyderabad, Telangana, Laxmi Rachana secured an impressive All India Rank 178 in her fourth attempt, exemplifying perseverance and dedication. She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Indore and brings with her a strong academic and professional background. Before her UPSC journey, she worked for a year in Research & Development with a leading technology firm in Bajaj, contributing to advanced work, including an international journal publication on rasorber structures in stealth technology.
Currently serving as an Assistant Director in the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, a position she secured through her UPSC 2023 performance, Laxmi’s journey is a powerful testament to resilience. Having narrowly missed the final selection list in 2023 by a small margin, she demonstrated remarkable determination to achieve success in 2025.
A former classroom foundation student of Vision IAS Hyderabad, her success reflects consistent effort, strategic preparation, and a deep commitment to public service. During the seminar, she emphasised the importance of consistency, self-discipline, and mental resilience in navigating the UPSC journey.
The event was presided over by Mr. Harekishna Singh, South Region Branch Head of Vision IAS, who congratulated Banoth Laxmi Rachana student of GS Foundation and highlighted her as a role model for aspirants. “We are extremely proud of Laxmi Rachana’s achievement.
