KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 26, 2026: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has released posters of District level Youth Parliament 2026, which would be conducted as part of Viksit Bharath campaign, organised by SRR Government Arts and Science College in Karimnagar town on February 28.
The Viksit Bharat 2026 district-level, state-level, and national-level competitions are open to youth aged 18 to 25 years. Participants will get an opportunity to speak for three minutes in Hindi, English, or Telugu on the topic “50 Years of Emergency: Lessons for Indian Democracy.”
The district-level competitions will be held on 28th February 2026, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at SRR Government Arts and Science College, under the auspices of the NSS Department, said College Principal Professor K. Ramakrishna. Participants must first register for the Viksit Bharat event on the My Bharat portal to take part in the competition.

Speaking on the occasion, K Surender Reddy, State General Secretary of TGC GTA, expressed his wish that, like last year, a large number of students participate, express their views fearlessly, and progress to the national level.

Mera Yuva Bharat District Officer M. Venkata Rambabu said that students should participate in large numbers at the district level and showcase their talent to take the name and fame of Karimnagar district to the national level. He encouraged all students to express their opinions without hesitation.
The program was attended by College Vice Principals P Nithin Pathak and T. Rajayya, and the District-Level Coordinator for Viksit Bharat B. Elizabeth Rani, along with faculty members, NSS Programme Officers Srinivas Reddy, Satya Prakash, K. Arjun, Venkateshwarlu, Rajender, Rajesh, and other lecturers, NSS volunteers, and students. Mayor K Srinivas, Corporators Praveen Rao, S Komuraiah and others were also present.
