Prime Minister Narendra Modi expresses happiness over the BJP capturing the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation
Advises to work towards ensuring that Central welfare benefits reach the marginalised sections
KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 02, 2026: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar recently paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the meeting, the recent Municipal elections were discussed, in which the BJP secured victory in the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation. The Prime Minister expressed his happiness over this achievement.
Bandi Sanjay informed the Prime Minister that the party had reached out to the people during the municipal elections by highlighting development works and the support provided through Central funds. He also mentioned the initiative titled “Modi Gift,” under which free branded bicycles were distributed to all Class 10 students in government schools across the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency.
On behalf of the newly elected corporators and public representatives of Karimnagar, he conveyed gratitude to the Prime Minister. On this occasion, the Prime Minister advised that true satisfaction lies in continuously serving the people. He urged them to work consistently towards resolving public issues and to ensure that the welfare schemes of the Central Government reach the most marginalised sections of society.
