RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, DECEMBER 08, 2025: A record number of 25 ward members, who have been elected unanimously from various grama panchayats, including Rudravaram village of Vemulawada Urban mandal, have joined the Congress party in the presence of Government Whip Adi Srinivas in Vemulawada temple town on Monday.
On this occasion, Mr Adi Srinivas invited the ward members, including Mahesh, Sampath and 25 others, into the Congress party by felicitating them with the party shawl. He said that the ward members, who have been elected unanimously, had joined the party attracted by the developmental works taken up by the Congress party under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
He appealed to the villagers to elect the Congress-supported candidates in the Grama panchayats for the all-around development of the villages. He also said that the Congress leaders were striving hard for the success of party-supported candidates in the elections.
