KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 24, 2025: Collector Pamela Satpathy has handed over two orphaned infants to their new parents after completion of formalities in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
The issueless couples from Visakapatnam of Andhra Pradesh state and Medchal Malkajgiri district have adopted two six-month-old orphan boy children respectively. At a programme organised at the Collector’s camp office, the Collector handed over the infants to the childless couples.
On this occasion, the collector appealed to the childless couple to approach the District welfare office for the adoption of orphaned children. DWO Saraswathi, CWC chairperson Dhanalakshmi, DCPO Parween, Protection officer Tirupati, Sishu Gruha manager Tejaswi, LCPO Raju, Raj Kumar, Sadaveni Ramesh and others were also present.
