TIRUMALA, FEBRUARY 02, 2026: The Andhra Pradesh Government has transferred Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer (EO) Anil Kumar Singhal and directed him to report to the General Administration Department (GAD) for further posting. He has been directed to hand over the charge immediately to Venkaiah Chowdary, Additional Executive Officer, TTD, on Sunday.
The development attains significance, as it comes in the backdrop of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) appointed by the Supreme Court to probe the alleged usage of adulterated ghee in the preparation of Tirumala Laddu, filing the charge-sheet in the Court.

As per the orders issued on Sunday, Muddada Ravichandra, 1996-batch IAS officer, currently serving as Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been entrusted with full additional charge as Executive Officer of TTD. The government has instructed him to assume charge expeditiously. It may be mentioned here that Mr Singhal has served as the TTD Executive Officer during the previous regime till October 2020.

Hands over charge
In accordance with GO No. 191, dated 01. 02.2026, Anil Kumar Singhal, on transfer, formally handed over the charge to Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, Additional Executive Officer, at the Srivari Temple in Tirumala on Sunday evening.
Earlier, Sri Anil Kumar Singhal along with his spouse had darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. Later, at the Ranganayakula Mandapam, Vedic scholars offered Vedic blessings. On the occasion, TTD Chairman B. R. Naidu presented a portrait of Sri Venkateswara along with theertha prasadams.
