HYDERABAD, FEBRAURY 05, 2026: The Telangana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (TSCPCR) members Aparna and Vandana, along with the District Education Officer (DEO), R Rohini, and other concerned officials, conducted an inquiry visit to the Government Girls Primary School located at Mallepally Seetharampet, Asifnagar, on Thursday.
The visit was undertaken following the receipt of a representation from the Telangana Education Development Foundation, wherein it was reported that the school lacked basic amenities such as electricity, drinking water, and proper sanitation facilities.

During the visit, the Members interacted with the complainant, school teachers, and community members. They also inspected the existing facilities in the school, including toilets, drinking water arrangements, and other infrastructure available for the children.
After the inspection, the Commission Members instructed the DEO, R. Rohini, to take immediate steps to repair the toilets, arrange proper drinking water facilities, and ensure safety measures in accordance with prescribed norms. The DEO was further directed to submit an Action Taken Report to the Commission.
The Members also directed the DEO to explore the possibility of shifting the school from its present location to Gosha Cut High School, in consultation with and with the consensus of the local community members.
Further, the Commission directed the complainant and the DEO to appear before the Commission office on 10th February, 2026, for the final disposal of the complaint.
