
KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 03, 2025: Students of Trinity – The School of Learning, Salehnagar, Karimnagar town, on Wednesday celebrated the Green Day by taking up plantation on the school premises on the eve of the World Soil Day, which is observed on December 5.
Students from all classes enthusiastically brought flowering and decorative saplings and planted them on the school campus, and showcased informative posters on the importance of soil conservation.
On this occasion, the students enlightened the importance of the role of soil in sustaining human life and the harmful effects of excessive use of chemical pesticides. They also explained how pollution caused by plastic usage and chemical waste was affecting the fertile soil and its degradation. They also stressed on the need to adopt organic farming for a healthier future.
The programme concluded with powerful slogans raised by the students: Save Soil- Save Earth and No Soil- No food. Stop Chemical pesticides and start organic farming.
School chairman Dasari Prashanth Reddy, Academic Director Mamatha Reddy, Principal Ratnamala, Academic Coordinator N Srikanth and other faculty members were also present.
