

KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 02, 2025: The Karimnagar district Congress leaders observed the 16th death anniversary of former Chief Minister of Integrated Andhra Pradesh Dr YS Rajashekhar Reddy in Karimnagar town on Tuesday.
TPCC secretary Vaidhyula Anjan Kumar, former corporator Katla Satish, Devender Patel, Konda Harish, Wasim, Imran, Asif, Shankar, and others paid floral tributes to the portrait of YSR. He distributed fruits and bread to the inmates of the old-age home and the disabled welfare in Karimnagar town.
On this occasion, Mr Anjan Kumar said that Dr YS Rajashekhar Reddy had introduced several innovative welfare schemes, such as free power to farmers, 108 ambulance services, Rajiv Arogyasri, Indiramma housing scheme, fee reimbursement, crop loan waiver of farmers and more. His accidental death is a great loss to the Telugu-speaking people and the Congress party, he added.
