

KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 14, 2025: The Eighth death anniversary of Dr Daram Nagabhusham, a senior-most Doctor of Karimnagar town, who practised medicine for six decades, was observed by his family members, including his son and eminent physician Dr Daram Raghu Raman, in Karimnagar town on Tuesday.
On this occasion, Dr Raghu Raman and Dermatologist Dr Sri Jyothi provided advice about foot care to the diabetes patients. Similarly, Dr Raghu Raman’s childhood schoolmate Kalavathi explained the importance of physical exercise for staying fit and protecting from diseases.
On this occasion, the hospital distributed specially prepared kits for diabetes patients, including footwear and toothcare. Daram Sujatha, wife of Dr Raghu Raman, and other hospital staff were also present. The patients shared their association with Dr Nagabhushanam.
Dr Daram Nagabushanam passed at the age of 94 years on October 14, 20217. His third son is a leading physician here, one grandson is an ENT specialist in Hyderabad, and another grandson is an eye specialist in the USA. Dr Nagabushanam received the ‘Vyosreshtha Samman’ award instituted by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in October 2016. He received the award from then-President Pranabh Mukherjee.
Dr Raghu Raman also distributed 30 napkins to the inmates of Spandana Orphanage in Velichala, maintained by Manchikatla Srinivas.
