KARIMNAGAR, JULY 29, 2025: The birth anniversary of the multi-faceted literary personality Dr. C. Narayana Reddy was grandly celebrated at Telangana Social Welfare Residential Women’s Degree College, Nagunur, under the auspices of the Telugu Department.
On this occasion, Principal T Malathi offered floral tributes to the portrait C. Narayana Reddy and praised him as a great poet and literary figure who strongly desired social change.
Head of the Telugu Department, Mr. Erroju Venkateshwarlu, highlighted that Narayana Reddy’s epic Viswambhara was awarded the prestigious Jnanpith Award, and mentioned that the film songs written by him are still popular among Telugu people. He also said that Dr. Narayana Reddy’s research work has served as a guide for many scholars and elaborated on his literary contributions with suitable examples.
The programme was attended and made successful by Principal Malathi, ACO Vasumathi, faculty members Venkateshwarlu, Radhika, Shankarayya, Kalyani, M. Radhika, Imrose, and several students.
