KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 23, 2026: An “Infosys Free Training & Placement Orientation” programme was successfully organised at SRR Government Arts and Science College, Karimnagar, to enhance students’ future employment opportunities. The session provided comprehensive awareness about certification programmes offered by Infosys and IBM, as well as job opportunities in emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics.
The programme was presided over by the Principal, Professor K. Ramakrishna. On this occasion, Infosys trainer Mr P. Ashok addressed the students and encouraged them to make effective use of the free training programmes offered by Infosys to enhance their skills in modern domains such as AI and Robotics. He emphasised that by developing competencies aligned with industry requirements, students can access wide-ranging opportunities at both national and international levels.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Ramakrishna stated that in today’s highly competitive world, merely obtaining a degree is not sufficient. Along with formal education, it is essential to complete skill-based courses that meet industry demands. He advised students to clearly define their career goals and move forward with proper planning.
Mr. G. Pawan, Director of Marina Paints Company, explained the various levels of employment opportunities available in his organisation. He expressed that youth can secure a promising future by developing technical skills in accordance with industry needs.
TSKC Coordinator Satish Kumar highlighted the importance of utilising internship opportunities alongside academic studies to gain practical experience, which plays a crucial role in future placements. IQAC Coordinator Harjoth Kaur emphasised that in the digital era, students can seize global opportunities by gaining proficiency in computer knowledge, data analytics, and soft skills.
Career Guidance Coordinator K. Sudhakar advised students to complete skill-oriented courses along with their college education and explore self-employment, startups, and digital services to grow independently. He encouraged students to harness their creativity to create new opportunities.
Faculty members from various departments and a large number of students actively participated in the programme and clarified their queries. The orientation session, aimed at strengthening students’ future employment prospects, concluded successfully.
